250g
Paneer cubes
1 cup
Thick yogurt
1 tsp
ZAFF saffron strands
2 tbsp
Mustard oil
1 tbsp
Lemon juice

Method

In a heavy pan, bring sugar and water to a gentle boil and cook for about 5 minutes until slightly syrupy.

In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with a little water until completely smooth, then slowly whisk it into the hot syrup to avoid lumps.

Reduce to low heat and stir continuously for 15–25 minutes until the mixture thickens, turns glossy, and begins to pull away from the sides.

Stir in ghee, rose water, cardamom, mixed nuts, optional saffron, and finally ¼ tsp ZAFF Aroma Powder, blending until fragrant and silky.

Pour into a greased tray, smooth the surface, allow to cool completely, then cut into elegant pieces and serve — soft, golden, and beautifully aromatic.
