Ingredients
● Idli rice (or parboiled rice): 2 cups (400 g)
● Urad dal: 1 cup (200 g)
● Fenugreek seeds: ½ tsp
● Water as needed
● Salt: 1½ tsp
● Zaff Aroma Spray: 1–2 light sprays on serving plate (optional)
Method
- Soak rice and dal separately 4–6 hrs; grind; mix; ferment 8–14 hrs.
- Add salt; pour into molds.
- Steam 10–12 min.
- Spray Zaff lightly on hot idli right before serving.
