Ingredients
● Soft dates (pitted): 1 cup (170 g)
● Water: 1½ cups (360 ml)
● Whole wheat flour (or semolina): 1 cup (130 g)
● Salt: pinch
● Ghee/butter: 2–3 tbsp
● Cardamom (optional): ½ tsp
● Zaff Aroma Powder: ¼ tsp
Method
- Simmer dates in water 5–8 min, mash or blend.
- Return to low heat; add salt and cardamom.
- Add flour slowly, stirring strongly until thick 8–12 min.
- Add ghee and Zaff powder. Serve warm.
