Ingredients
● All-purpose flour: 2 cups (260 g)
● Instant yeast: 2 tsp
● Sugar: 1 tbsp
● Salt: ½ tsp
● Yogurt: 2 tbsp
● Warm water: ¾–1 cup (180–240 ml)
● Cardamom: ½ tsp
● Oil for frying
● Date syrup (dibs) or honey: ½ cup (120 ml)
● Sesame (optional): 1 tbsp
● Zaff Aroma Powder: 1 pinch
Method
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, salt, cardamom, Zaff powder.
- Add yogurt + warm water to make sticky batter. Rest 45–60 min.
- Fry spooned balls on medium heat until golden.
- Drizzle date syrup/honey; sprinkle sesame.
